Frog and Scot is a lively French bistro in the heart of the coastal town of Deal. Situated on the award-winning High St (The Telegraph’s ‘High Street of The Year’ 2014), the bistro is run by it’s owners Benoit and Sarah, the eponymous Frog and Scot.
Offering quality ingredients and superb cooking in a warm and friendly environment, Frog and Scot is bistronomy at it’s best! Serving up both classic and contemporary dishes, food is prepared using the freshest, locally sourced and seasonal produce.
The restaurant has a casual yet elegant feel with intimate bistro tables, a marble bar where customers are welcome to sit and eat, and an on-street dining area to relax and watch the world go by.
Building on the success of their wine shop and bar ‘Le Pinardier’ (just a few doors along from the bistro), Frog and Scot also offers an extensive wine list featuring many that are organic, biodynamic and natural.
Chef David Gadd heads up the kitchen at Frog and Scot. Fresh from six years at the Michelin Star ‘The Sportsman’ in Seasalter, he constantly strives for excellence, creating new and innovative dishes alongside the more classic menu.
